Still working…

I ended up adding most of these travel updates after we got home. As always, the end of the trip got away from me. It worked out though because I was able to add some printed photos. I put together a video tutorial for creating photo grids like the one above awhile back. You can see it in this post. That little flamingo card is the front of a folded greeting card from Linda & Harriett.

To the back of the flamingo card, I added a photo of the resort at night. On the right side, I first stuck down a bunch of letter stickers, but they didn't properly fill the page and it didn't look right. It was "fixed" by adding a polaroid photo right on top with staples. Now the letters look more like pattern, which I don't mind at all. The pen I used to write on the polaroid is an American Crafts Slickwriter.

To the back of the white card, I added a dark orange paper, some stickers and some text about driving up the five freeway with my parents on Monday. That piece of map tape is very old and from Heidi Swapp.

Both the orange paper and the sun stamped chipboard are part of the summer bonus paper pack that I am making available today. I have a limited number of these packs so grab them while you can using the button below. SOLD OUT! THANK YOU!!

I am going to continue working on my album using the bonus pack and the few original pages I have left.

Awesome job! I really love how you have incorporated polaroids into your book. Did you know there is a free downloadable program called http://www.poladroid.net It’s available for both mac’s and pc’s. Just drop and drag your own photos onto the polaroid camera and wha-la, you have yourself a polaroid. It’s so much fun.
Also, my thoughts and prayers will be with Paul for a safe deployment and return home. God Bless!

I love the letter sticker and poloroid page. I hope you’ll do Bonus packs more often, too. I am always needing more pages/inspiration. I think they’re a great idea! Thanks!

ordered! was trying to find another envelope to fit in here anyway. it’s going to hold random instax photos that didn’t work anywhere else.

I wish you did a video for this update. Not because I’m curious about a specific technique; just because I love your videos!
I know I’m off to a late start, but I can’t WAIT to get my Summer book in the mail. So much inspiration to draw on here.

Love how you used the spirally clips to clip the polaroid into the book – awesome idea.

So glad I let my impulse buyer get the best of me and ordered the bonus when I did. They went fast!
I am still loving every minibook update. As someone that has been into scrapbooking type stuff, these posts have been really helpful!

Elise, how do you print photos on the road? Except for the polaroids of course.

I didnt actually print on the road. Because Paul had to leave early, we came home to San Diego for a day and I printed those two photos at home on my printer. 🙂
