hi folks!

Next month is shaping up to be crazy with the blog workshop and prep work for the craft fair I will be participating in.

Of course, it is also a big priority that this blog stays active and so I'm asking – do you have any suggestions for blog topics? I've got 20 days to fill and not a ton of time to be thinking up blog ideas.

If you'd like me to write about something, please leave a request in the comments. And to sweeten the pot – I am giving away 5×7 digital prints (your choice) to three randomly chosen commenters. Suggestions are always welcome, but this giveaway will close tomorrow (Friday) morning. And the winners will then be announced in this post.

    omgosh, pesto is THE BEST. so glad you are enjoying it. I dont have too much of a music ear at all. … which is probably why I never talk about it. But I will think about it and share some faves!

    I am a photog wanting to set up an etsy shop to sell some art prints… so anything etsy related would be a tremendous help… Also – how much inventory to you keep on hand at a given time – or do you process orders through a lab once you receive them so you aren’t needing to shoulder that kind of investment?

    Hey Elise, I know the contest is over but I had an idea for a future post and thought this might be the perfect place to suggest it. I think you should have a before/after post of people that took your blog class. Sort of like a makeover for blogs (and also to help advertise for any upcoming workshops). Of course you would pick which blogs/how many to feature, but those of us that are in your class could take screenshots of our blog before we start getting deep into re-designing and then an after shot when we’re done and have a design we like.
    Anyway, just a thought. I love seeing before and afters and that might be a great selling point for future workshops (especially the ones that are most improved). That’s a post that I’d love to see – even though I’m in the class 🙂

    I just thought of something I wish you could help me with. How do you lay out your posting schedule? Do you have it on a wall as a big hard copy or do you use google calendars or what? Do you plan out posts that you do monthly and/or weekly? How do you keep track so you post on a consistent basis?
    Ps. Has anyone ever thanked you for posting every day of the week? Well, I want to. I am a new mom (my baby is 11 months now) and some small indulgence like reading your blog and a few others, really keeps me feeling like me. Thanks for always being true to your inspirations. You are inspiring!

    Thank you!! I keep a big wall calendar with posting ideas (laid out by the day). At the beginning of each month, I brainstorm of blogging ideas (this month you guys helped me A LOT). It is a HUGE priority for me that I get something new on the blog at least every weekday – and after five years of blogging, I finally got it down. 🙂 I am going to try to write more about blogging soon.
