We drove north for about an hour this morning to check out a pumpkin patch. They run a few craft fairs each fall and I wanted to see if this was something I would want to sell my own shop goods at. (survey says : probably not.)

We came home with six awesome little pumpkins.

(And then we went to the local grocery store on the way home and found the exact same pumpkins for half the price.)

But the trip was totally worth it. We bonded on the way there and spent the way home lost in thought. Aparently, I still do good thinking while sitting in the car. I have a few DIY autumn and holiday projects in my head right now and I am excited to share them over the next few months.

October, let's get crafty.

You guys should check our Summers Past just west of Alpine. Their pumpkin patch opens next weekend. They have a barn (cute shop), soap shop, coffee stand, lavendar fields. You can also take a lunch and have a picnic! Very fun!

“october, let’s get crafty.” i couldn’t say it better myself. i’m getting to the crazy halfway point of the semester where all i get to do is work… but all i want to do is create… it’s all about making time!

LoVe your pictures! every year I get my boyfriend a baby pumpkin…it’s a tradition at this point + your pictures reminded me of that. lol! Cal Poly Pomona has a HUGE pumpkin patch starting on the 16th. it’s a great Sunday drive up + since it’s a college, it’s super cheap. can’t wait to see you get your “crafty”!

Woo! Great shots–you were literally 5 minutes away from my house! We live right down the street from Bates. Good times. Every fall we love to go and take pictures in the pumpkins–maybe take one home with us. Looking forward to hearing about the projects you have planned for fall!
