Paul's family came to San Diego a weekend ago and we welcomed them to Little Italy with an Italian meal. I made focaccia bread (totally worth the excessive olive oil) and caprese salads and Paul fixed up chicken and pesto with fresh pasta.
We almost rivaled some of the fancy restaurants in our little neighborhood.

Bread making always seems scary, but whenever I make it, it always seems to come out pretty good 🙂 I will have to try this recipe!

That Foccacia looks amazing. When its all sliced up it looks so delicate! Im definitely going to take a cue and do an italian night soon, too!
