enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

Eanddad I am anxiously awaiting the photos from our professional photographers, but until then am loving what pops up on Facebook. When I saw this one of my dad and I halfway down the aisle, I gasped.

The whole experience was so surreal.

The doors opened and the only thing left to do was start walking. I remember hearing the music. I remember seeing three distinct faces. I remember thinking, "Oh, good! Paul sees me!" I remember trying so very hard not to cry and failing miserably.

I adore my dad. It was such a cool moment for us both.

(thank you, sarah for the photo.)

That moment is the best. All I can remember at that moment during our wedding is that it felt like if I smiled any bigger, my face would disappear. But I couldn’t stop smiling so big!

You make me feel like I was at your wedding & I love it!!! You prove that DIY at wedding planning is a success that anyone can achieve if they put their heart & soul into it. From what I’ve seen & read, everything has turned out so beautifully & magically. I wish you & your husband many more magical moments in life. `=)
