Do you use the finger method to cast on or both needles?I find I get a really neat edge if I cast on pushing the needle behind the whole stitch as opposed to just the front of the stitch.In other words you stick the needle at the back of the looped stitch rather than in the middle of the loop-does that make sense? And then for a neat side edge I slip the first stitch of every row.I’m a bit of a neat freak when it comes to knitting…Enjoy!

cool tips! I am not at all a perfectionist knitter .. so I just sort of go with it. I use my hand to cast on the first row. 🙂
