I just updated the shop with new home mini book kits, poppy gocco prints & US postcards. I will be sharing what I made with the home book kit on Monday – I’m excited about this one.

And in the meantime, leave a comment on this post to be entered to win a poppy print OR a set of “blank to the blank” cards. Share what type of book you would write if you had the chance.

I’ll draw two random winners Monday. And don’t forget to visit the shop.

I would love to write a smart funny fiction book about a big family. No drama just great stories about a big family growing up together!

I would write the love story of my grandparents. My grandpa passed away just before Christmas – he had Alzheimer’s and the way she took care of him in the later days was beautiful. I have a little bit of their story on how they met, but I know less about their married life before I was old enough to really know them. They are definitely one of my inspirations!

i’d write a book of collections. it would have various contributors with their favorite collections. it could be of stuff, of little love notes, it could be anonymous, and it would be collaborative and fun to look through.

i think i would write a book about infertility. infertility pretty much sucks so i would want to write a book that would make other infertile folks laugh their asses off while they were figuring out ways to cope with the pain.
    cool giveaway, btw!

I’m fascinated by memoir – how many themes of living are experienced by most people, but the details that make up our days are generally more unique. Great shop updates!

Cool! What an amazing wealth of ideas! I would love to write all kinds of books. I’d love to write a book that had both quality text and images, that was easy to carry around, that had space in it for the reader/owner to contribute and make art, that had thoughts and explorations. A sort of travelogue, but also with poetry and stories and pictures. A memoir. Is that making any sense? It’s neat to explore the idea. Thanks for the opportunity!
Also – please enter me in the draw. Thanks!

Also – someone mentioned writing about dealing with chronic illness in your 20s- and I’d like to write about having depression in your 20s, and how I dealt with that. How you live day to day, even after it’s over, with that as part of your story.
Man! What cool ideas! I hope some of you people actually do write these books!

If I had the opportunity to write a book, it would be a children’s book. When I’m in a bookstore i tend to gravitate towards the children’s section. I like to think that it is because I am a child at heart…

man these are so cool! Love what you’re doing with the gocco so far, Elise. If I were going to write a book, I think it’d probably end up being some sort of romantic comedy type book for teens. Because I like reading them so much. And it would probably be fun to write a book like that.

if i were writing a book, i would write a children’s picture book. it would be all about learning and pursuing your interests. i’ve always come across things that i want to know more about, but sometimes people wouldn’t understand why i would want to learn something i didn’t ‘have’ to learn about. it would be my hope that reading a book would help some kids understand that it’s okay to learn things on your own, and have your own interests.

So, clearly I’d love the chance to win anything you’re willing to give away! ๐Ÿ™‚
As for the book I would write… I’ve always wanted to do something akin to the Griffin & Sabine series by Nick Bantock… only not so fantastical… but something involving postcards and illustration and stamps and envelopes to open, etc… the whole voyeur experience on someone else’s correspondence.

i would definitely write a book about our (my boyfriend and I) love story. we’ve been together for nine years (turning ten this year!) and i feel our life together before getting married is worth remembering. i’ll fill it up with tons of photos, sort of like a journal. and i’m sure our future children will enjoy reading through it. ๐Ÿ™‚
