I am in San Diego staying with Paul for the week. He's learning, I'm visiting.

I picked out a few red, white & gray papers for the base of the book and added circle number tags from banana fish studio to serve as the dividers between the days. The book is 4×6 and if all goes as planned it will get nice and full throughout the week.

Perfect timing! San Diego is so nice right now and the heat wave seems to finally be ending – full of sunny but cool breeze days!
Enjoy your stay! I love living here!

Ohh this mini is going to be so fab! Enjoy San Diego – it’s so nice this time of year! And if you’re in the Point Loma neighborhood, be sure to stop by THE cutest scrapbook store called Paper Tales (http://papertales.typepad.com/). Have a wonderful trip!

I think this is the first time I have commented on your blog .. about time … you are simply fantastic! I have gathered so very many favorite shops on etsy because of you! Keep the links coming!
I do have a question, how do you get so many cool papers? I believe I know you work at a paper shop … so for those of us unfortunate to NOT work at one … how do you suggest going about getting cool papers? Are there less obvious places than antique shops? Just wondering … for now I have to live vicariously thru your blog … and dream of cool mini books … sigh.

This has nothing to do with your post by I was browsing Etsy this morning and I came across this necklace and it made me think of you, I am sure you already have your bridesmaids gifts planned but I though this would be fitting. Hope you enjoy

Need ideas of things to do? Just in case … Station Sushi and Pizza Port in Solana Beach, drinks or dinner at George’s at the Cove in La Jolla, Phil’s BBQ in Point Loma, Museum of Photographic Art and the Mingei Museum — both at Balboa Park, Extraordinary Desserts in Hillcrest (and Little Italy), India Ink Papers (I think you’ll love it) in Little Italy (plus some nice art supply stores in the area), Lotus Thai in Hillcrest, Bronx Pizza in Mission Hills, wow, too many food suggestions already! Lots of fun shops in the Gaslamp Quarter (and nearby Horton Plaza). Enjoy! San Diego’s a great place to live! I can’t wait to see it through your eyes.
