enJOY it

IMG_1378 Paul and I just started watching Mad Men. I have a love/hate relationship with nearly every character. I'll watch forever though because the writing is great, the costumes are perfection and I am so intrigued that they are not making something from nothing, but instead taking what exists (the era) and writing a story around it. Pretty fantastic.

One of my favorite lines came from towards the end of season one was when Don Draper told Peggy Olsen who was having a mental block to think about it for a long time, then forget about it and the answer will come out of the blue.

I'm doing that to try to figure out what my next project should be.

Have a great weekend.

Agreed! I am a latecomer to Mad Men too. I just finished watching season 1. I love/hate the characters too. The costumes and set are as much a draw for me as the excellent writing.

I love it too! Those hour-glass figures and wide hips! I so should have lived in the 50’s… I love the political incorrectness of it too- smoking! gasp
I’m sure you’ll come up with something amazing for your next project:)

I hope your next project is going well, whatever it is!
So, I came across a girl on a bike, with some colors I think you might like:

That was not meant to rhyme. And check out the older post too, she’s a consistent, pretty little bike-rider!

I loved it when January Jones (“Don Draper’s wife”) said she couldn’t do something “in her condition” (also known as being pregnant) but continued puffing on her cigarette and swigging down a merlot.
