tuesday it is.

IMG_0336 Celebrate Tuesday. The picture above is my newest stamp. I recently decided I was sick and tired of writing my address on the back or corner of all outgoing (non-etsy) orders. It was time to buy an address stamp. I should have done it two years ago, but now seems like as good a time as any. I ordered from simonstamp.com and at checkout noticed that you can do custom images (at no extra charge). I uploaded my handwritten "celebrate" and ta-da. A new custom stamp. What will I use it on? Any number of things. Mostly outgoing mail. But maybe as a fake tatoo. Maybe on P's homework assignments. Maybe on the mirror when the day is long and boring.

Like yesterday. I should have got out the stamp yesterday. It was a 2 out of 10 on the productivity scale. Partly because I woke up late, but also because I took a two hour nap and watched Freaky Friday on the Disney Channel. Not my finest hour/day. Not at all. (It's not that Freaky Friday isn't a great movie, it's that nothing says "what are you doing with your life?" than the over-achieving kids on the Disney Channel commercials.)

I am hoping for the opposite today. I would love to be 10 out of 10 on the "GET IT DONE" scale. We'll see. I need a list first…

    Hah! I’ve had days like that (um, when you have kids someday, you’re going to have more of them.. sorry)!
    Ok, off to clean up cat vomit. Oh Joy. Hopefully today I’ll get more done than just that.

    stamps are fun 🙂
    and productivity… what is that? between kiddies running around, and the computer (an addiction i am sure but will never admit it!) i am surprised we have clean dishes everyday! i am shooting for at least a 5/5 day 😉

    That is too funny…I called in sick to work because was feeling about .5 out of 10, and I watched “Freaky Friday” too! I relate well to the ‘crypt keeper’ comment especially.

    Your comment about the Disney kids made me laugh. It’s true, though! I’m nearly 30 (yikes) and haven’t had half the drive of The Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up…they knew at 4!

    I want a stamp that says, You’re welcome. I would stamp all my bills when sending my check in. hehe
    The disney kids will definitely make you feel like you totally wasted your time. You could have been making a career instead of playing with barbie dolls. ugh. At least we won’t have crazy messed up adult hoods. Althought at least the have something to blame it on.
    Wow… yeah… that’s what rambling looks like.

    I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who slept too late yesterday and had an unproductive day. You watched Freaky Friday. I watched DVRed reruns of the orginal 90210.
