We are coming up on our sixth day of dreary weather and gray skies and I am starting to pull my hair out. I am aching for sunshine and warmth. I am counting the days until we are back in California. (No offense, east coast, the homesickness – that lay dormant for 1.5 years – is getting to me.)

Inspired by this and this blog this past weekend. What is inspiring you?

I’m with you on the dreariness. I’m training for the Avon Walk and had to walk 12 miles in the rain on Saturday. Which was not fun–and I took the hottest shower ever when I got back!–but was still better than three hours on a treadmill. 🙂
Lately I am inspired by the possibilities… I’m going to spend nine days with my best friend whom I haven’t seen in four years! We both make jewelry and are taking a couple of metallurgy classes while I’m there. I can’t wait! Even if it is in Seattle, which means more rain. 🙂

oh man, this weather THRILLS ME. i was thinking today that it’s almost like DC is trying to get me to stay by mimicking my beloved northwest. plus, don’t you know overcast weather is better for photo taking?

You should totally find a way to glue those together and make a cute wall-hanging or trivet or something.

Rain rain… I felt that same rain yesterday… I’m in D.C… Visiting my dear dear boyfriend who is at Walter Reed Military Hospital. We drove past a Paper Source the day before yesterday… And I wondered if that was where you worked. I couldn’t even tell you what street we were on… I just know that there was a Chipotle down the street because that’s where we were headed.
So hello to you if you are close to here! 🙂
p.s. I can’t stand the traffic and parking here. I’m going to go nuts!
