Last year, I made a list of 23 things to accomplish at 23. And I accomplished 17 out of 23. But I did nothing to chronicle the adventure aside from a few blog posts. This year, I thought I would just GET STARTED right at the beginning. I put together a 4×6 book of assorted papers and a few photos as a blank canvas for my 24th year.

The list is displayed a few pages in and it is followed by 24 additional pages. Each page will represent one item on the list. Each page is not yet numbered – I will move them around and embellish them as I work on the goals.

I invision this book as a little bit Ali Edwards December Daily and a little bit my Kauai Album on the Road. I hope it gets stuffed with photos and text and menus and receipts and plane tickets and all the memorabilia I will collect as I accomplish 24 different things this year.
enJOY it

Seriously that’s amazing. I loved doing my December Daily album… but all that pressure was too much. I think this idea is so much fun and more relaxed. I might have to try this myself in October! Thanks for sharing.

for your file tabs — do you just trace and cut, or do you have mini file folders laying around everywhere?LikeLike

That is so cool! I don’t understand where you get all of your creativity from, but I’m jealous…and inspired, as usual.

i would try to make a book like this, but it would end up looking nothing at all like your fabulous one, and then i would forever be unhappy with it. oh well! i will just admire yours. it’s beautiful.

This is awesome. I’m doing 30 before I’m 30, so perhaps an album like this will be just the ticket.

Hi there. I saw a linked to your blog from Jenny Benge’s. This is such a great idea! I love it. Putting the candle in and the 2 and 4 cards — adorable touches. The spirit of the idea is amazing. You don’t include “jobs” on your list, but things that will make you smile and feel good. Brilliant. Good luck with your list and the year.

I love this book! It makes me happy to look at it and imagine it full of all the neat things you will have accomplished in your year! My 26th is coming up and I would LOVE to do something like this! (seeing as though my new years resolutions totally bombed!) This looks a million times more fun than resolutions – this seems to make life good and happy! I love it – thank you so much for sharing!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this! What a great idea to document the most meaningful moments of one’s life. If you made one of these each year, in a few years you’ll have such a great collection.

Hi, virtual twin-sister!
Somehow my path through blog-land sent me to this page. I love your album and I will have a closer look at your Kaui-book.
If I would do a book like yours the list must be very longer. 😉
What I work on this year is a project of monthly.textile.pages (anyone can hop on at any time, so welcome!) and you can see, if you like, how I cheerished my February 25.
xoxo
