What a wonderful idea. This weekend I will be hanging out with my mom and stepdad- they are coming to visit. Should be much of the fun. They helped my husband and I move into our new place, but they haven’t seen it all put together. so, yeah.

My weekend will involve me heading down to the bank nice and early to give them an ass-kicking over screwing up my student bank account grrrr…followed by some serious ice-cream eating down on plymouth hoe. Unless it rains. Then said ice-cream eating will take place in bed :). I’m also half way through writing a palliative care case study, which I hope to give some attention, as well as reflecting on the amazingly inspiring cancer patients I’ve had the pleasure to meet and treat in the last 2 weeks. Ice-cream and tears. Thats my weekend! xx

I plan to talk to my husband online and over the phone for the FIRST TIME after 6 weeks…. He was in Basic Training for 6 weeks, and the only way to talk to him, was via letters….. I miss him, and I can’t wait to hear his voice again – after 6 weeks…
That might be nothing – talking to him over the phone and via web cam., but it means the world to me.

This weekend my 2 little boys, there aunt and myself will be taking a class at the Scrabook Oasis. So much fun it is to be able to share something I love to do with my little ones. Of course I can forget about cleaning house as well.

This weekend we’re having a summer party for my little girl, whose 2. Her birthday is just a few days before Christmas, so we decided we would also give her a summer (birthday) celebration- just like the Queen 🙂 This will include lots of strawberries and cream, hand-made bunting, pink balloons and a lovely afternoon spending time with family.

This weekend we have some local stuff going on. The Secret City Festival. IT should be fun outdoorsy stuff. We live in OAk Ridge,TN and our little town used to be a secret because they were working on the Atomic Bomb. Shhh dont tell 🙂 Here is a linky

I am organizing/purging the contents of my college-years-living-accumulation into my childhood bedroom. Oh, and I’m attending the opening of an exhibition which I’m actually in! One of about 15 “young, local and promising artists”. Should be nice!

My weekend may kill me. Tonight I am driving 2 kids to a sleepover across town. On the way back, I’m purchasing football cleats for kid #3. Tonight, I’ll picking up kid #4, plus two buddies, from a summer pool party around midnight, and encouraging them to go direclty to bed. (yea, uh, maybe not). Saturday we are up at 5am to head out for a track meet with reporting time at 6. Track meet ensues until 3 pm, then kid #4, and his two buddies and I are off to pick up kid #3 from a football camp. I then drive kids 3 and 4 to their dad’s house, to join #s 1 and 2, and then drop the two buddies off at their home. I am then driving home to colapse and maybe breathe. Have a wonderful weekend! 😉

We’re taking baby boy (7 weeks old) out for dinner at a nice restaurant tonight. Hoping he cooperates and sleeps or just looks cute.
The rest of the weekend I’m going to attempt some yardwork and rebuild my info. on my laptop (just got a new harddrive as my last one died and I lost pretty much everything :()

Unfortunately I have to work…means I have to write on an essay for university…has to be finished the coming week and I’m really far behind, so…no swimming for me, even if the weather would be SO good! sigh But after this coming week I’ll finally have the time to scrap again! wohooo Love summer!! 🙂

Let’s see… looks like purging and organizing for me, too! Apparently I have to get rid of all flammable craft substances before moving halfway across the country. And all meltable stuff (like that 1 lb of beeswax I bought for who knows what)! So, of course, I can’t have any more paper/crafty stuff until after I move. sigh
