i say no to the fourth bowl of ice cream.

(I figured typing would be a good way to avoid it at all costs. Forgive me if I ramble.)

Today was a good day.

A very good, work-filled, adventure of a day.

Which is very good.

I even stayed upbeat when it felt like 50 degrees outside. Which is LAME. Helllllllllllo, Spring. Come OVER. STAY A WHILE. HAVE A BOWL OR FOUR OF ICE CREAM. If this cold front continues into May aka TOMORROW, I might have to do a little more than shake my fist at Old Man Weather. I might have to change this blog to a meteorologist blog and complain all day every day.

Which, as we all know, ACTUALLY CAUSES THE WEATHER TO CHANGE. Go figure.

But anyways.

Big plans tomorrow. Dinner plans actually for a Dinner Party with Steph and Stevo. I am pumped. I decided a long time ago that when I grew up I would be a Lady who Dined. I would also very much love to be a Lady who Lunches. (Or a Lady who Crafts…or a Lady who Snaps Her Fingers And Ice Cream Is Calorie Free.) So It is quite exciting that this dream o’ mine is getting realized.

Also. About the Lunch Situation. Today I had the best burger in the world. From Rugby. Man, oh man, I gave up my cheese strike for this burger and let them load on the goat cheese. And it was sort of like a party in my mouth.

So anyways.

Enough about food. I am going back to Letterpress Land on Friday for the making of more stuff. I do not quite have a plan nailed down, but I do have paper and ink. And paper + ink = good.

Good times.

    I will join you in your sunshine dance… or your complaining about the rain… or whatever… for two reasons:
    1) I am also new to this area and I am sick of this multiple-personality-disorder weather that we have here.
    2) I’m doing the Avon Walk in DC this weekend and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t let it thunderstorm on us while we walk for 40 miles and while we sleep in a tent overnight. Puh-LEASE! Please?
    So I’m saying happy sunshine prayers and hopping on one foot while crossing the last two fingers on my left hand. That usually works.

    funny you should mention ice cream, I had to make a run to cal mart last night to get some haggen das…ha ha ha. Can you believe I am going to be a jr. in two weeks?
