enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

Photo_567and I said, without missing a beat,

"Adventures."

Like a clever person, I left out the detail that most of the adventures involve paper.

Also, like a clever person, I said nothing more. Talking about blogs in real life is the most awkward thing ever.

No offense, Blogland.

And I love Julie, tonight’s dinner/drinks partner.

Hmmm, if only you’d posted this last week!
I was in the Alexandria PS this week and mentioned to the cashier that I had to get a certain paper after I’d seen it on your blog… and she said, “Oh, she has a blog, what’s it about?”
… and I said, “Oh, uh, stuff she makes, and, uh, funny things, and, uh…”
Obviously, the most awkward thing ever. 🙂 But NOW I know the right answer. For next time. 🙂
    Have a super weekend! 🙂

i completely agree. i get so embarassed when it comes up in covo–“yeah, i read that on your blog” when i didn’t even realize that person was reading. i think i’d be mortified if people at work read what i wrote sometimes. amazing.

You are so right. It seems a little strange when people tell me they read my blog. Cool, but strange!

That is a clever answer. I agree, it’s best not to talk about personal blogs in real life.

yes, yes, yes. and i love you for saying that. it is super weird discussing blogs in real life, especially with people who do not blog. that’s the worst. they so need to join the club to ‘get it’.
