enJOY it

Img_8774Turns out that when you bring all the right paperwork, getting your driver’s license at the Maryland DMV is actually a simple and enjoyable experience.

WHO KNEW?

But the real kicker of the morning is that after I got my battery jumped, the radio of my car mysteriously decided to quit working.

CLEARLY what the world is trying to tell me is that I should drive my car off a cliff and invest in a sturdy bicycle.

Congratulations on finally getting it! Sometimes after jumping the car, you have to enter a code into the radio (should be in your user manual) to get it to work again… it’s some sort of anti-theft thing. I just had this happen last weekend, so it’s fresh on my mind! Good luck!!

Congrats! I’m impressed that you get the card copy while you’re there. In oregon you get a paper temp and then 2 weeks later the hard copy in the mail. I get to do this on Monday with a paper driving test for OR laws, wish me luck!

Truly, truly, I say unto you who has “jumped” your car …….. you HAVE to find the owner’s manual and find your “secret code” in order to let the radio run free. It has happened to us twice now. (SO not as much fun as the mythical Secret Decoder Rings in the cereal boxes of our youth!)
Darn protection from the crazies keeps us from our precious music/muzac/talk radio!
