I think it was last night, or maybe this morning, that I planned this blog entry. I was going to talk about how I love Thursday nights. About how on Thursdays, I walk out of work with a spring in my step because LIFE IS GOOD and IT IS MY WEEKEND.
But today, I walked out of work and stepped in a puddle and cursed the April showers, because let us be honest, I can buy May flowers all year long at Trader Joe’s.
As I waited in the cold rain for a crowded wet bus, I made the executive decision to hold off on my Mission Impossible : Maryland DMV plot that I had planned for tomorrow. I also came to the realization that I should make all of my decisions when I am waist deep in water. It is these times that I normally have my priorities in line: 1. get dry. 2. get home. 3. avoid people who like to make you jump through hoops. 4. find a bottle of wine.
I have switched gears and decided to make things allllll day long tomorrow. I am making a book to keep my work thoughts organized. And a mini book of my European travels. And writing an article about my mini book of my European travels. And I might also make some cupcakes. Oh, and I am making "Choose Your Attitude" cards for work.
And one of the cards is going to say "DRY" on it.
