enJOY it

So while recently Friday’s have been reserved for painful visits to the DMV, their regular scheduled programing involves a lot of cleaning. Because I work Sunday-Thursday and make messes as soon as I get home, things get a little piled up around here. As I am skipping the DMV today due to lack of funds + desire to be told "No", I am back to Operation Clean the House.

Exhibit A: Please note the valentine making production. And the piles of wedding invitations for my workshop on Sunday. Please notice that our plant is still alive and that our Christmas tree is still on the balcony. In the bottom right is Paul’s Xbox – newly returned from the Xbox hospital. Last night he put it there and asked if I minded it on the ground until tomorrow. I almost threw a paper cutter at him.

Exhibit B: We may as well call this the breakfast nook. As I must eat breakfast next to the computer or else my whole day might explode. Fun Fact: In our house, we believe chairs are actually coat hooks.

Exhibit C: Grrrr on dishes. A really effective dishwasher would be one that was built into your sink. So you did not have to go through the trouble of moving the dishes from the sink to the dishwasher. Although I must say, those muffins really brighten the place up a bit.

I did have an Exhibit D: The piles of clothes on the bedroom floor. But to preserve my soul and keep M & D from reliving old "Clean Your Room!" moments, I am going to keep that one in the archives.

Thanks for coming along on this tour, I hope it makes you feel better about your messes.

I rarely get to “operation clean the house.” Especially if it involves a vacuum. And my chairs are also coat hooks, although my husband protests this daily! I have no dishwasher – and never have since i’ve had my own place…so a few years ago I learned not to procrastinate the washing. It was an ordeal- but I’m much happier now. I wish you luck with your operation!

looks similar to my place right now…
except, yeah…no dishwasher (so I have dirty dishes in the sink AND clean dishes in a dish rack).

Yeah, my house looks like this too. Except you have to add the messes of an 8 year old boy and an almost 12 year old girl to it. Hope you have a happy Friday and a great weekend!!!

In comparison to mine, your house is SPOTLESS!! I have let my 5 year old run wild too long, and now that I am trying to clean and curb her reign she is not cooperating – go figure 😉
    chairs ARE coathooks!

“Fun Fact: In our house, we believe chairs are actually coat hooks.” We have this belief too! Your kitchen looks clean compared to mine, oh how i loath the dishes.
Hope your operation was a success.
