enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

So….

You may have noticed that the Daily Cards have fallen off just a little bit. It would be an understatement to say I have lost momentum with the project. Over the past few months they have still come together – and normally on the right day, but ugh. I have started to dread making them…too many other projects and ideas.

I have decided to stop early – before my 23 birthday as originally planned. I am six decks in and I have a huge album full of them. They helped me to create everyday. They expanded how I think about making stuff. I no longer need full size layouts to tell a story. Just some paper and a date stamp. And I love that. I will consider the project a success because of it.

I will get the rest of the ones that I have (through Jan 5) up on the blog sometime today or tomorrow. And I will be leaving the blog up, at least until I have something cool to replace it with.

Thank you for following the cards, and thank you for the kind words along the way. Good times.

I loved looking at these – congratulations on completing your project! It’s definitely better to stop before something turns sour too.

I’ve enjoyed them! Thanks. 🙂 How are you storing them? (I can see the album, but are the page protectors divided into three? Looks cool!)

    hey Elise!
The cards are suppose to be fun, so if there not it defeats the purpose.

Love your album Elise! I’ve decided to stop mine at the end of last year. I got so behind in them towards December and I don’t know if I will go back to do them or not.. probably just leave them as they are.. I’m very happy I did them, but like you.. they’re days that I struggle with them. Thank you so much for the constant inspiration.
