Q: Three frogs were sitting on a log and two decided to jump off, so how many were left on the log?

(pause for the person to say "one")

A: Nope, three. They only decided to jump off, they didn’t actually do anything about it.

Big difference between what you DECIDE to do and what you DO do. Thinking a lot about that today. Thinking that I really have to make yoga and BALANCE not just a priority in my life, but a reality.

I AM writing more in my little book. Dumb little things that are much more personal journal worthy than blog worthy. I am realizing that it is helpful to have an outlet for both. PLUS I get to use my lovely sharpies. Everyone wins.

Some other things that are in my head today:

I can TOTALLY relate to the DECIDING & DOING issue. I am HORRIBLE about that in certain areas of my life. I KNOW I NEED to do something about it but I still DON’T. I don’t know why this is. I frustrate myself with this issue.

Yoga is one of the things that I’m also trying to LIVE more rather than just read about (and meditating too) and do everyone once in a while! I just marked 3 days on my calendar that I’m going to take a live class and I have some books waiting for me at the library that will help with a more regular home practice (ideas for sequences, etc…along with some issues of Yoga Journal that I am going to tear out the sequences and put in a special folder). Here’s to a reality filled with ACTION!! Love your paper adventure!!
