enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

At work today, the newest issue of ReadyMade arrived like magic in the mail. And on the cover: "Print your own season’s greetings." Inside are INSTRUCTIONS on how to BUILD YOUR OWN LETTERPRESS. I almost fell over. But then I realized that I need some sort of a garage to house this machine. And unfortunately, our bathroom is not as large as a garage. Nevertheless, a subscription to ReadyMade just went on my Christmas list.

I have decided to make a few typed-up calendars available for purchase on etsy. I expect them to be on there by Friday. In the meantime, if you would like to WIN one, visit Mel’s blog. She gave away some fantastic HANDMADE calendars, and mine is still up for the taking.

(LOVING the CAPS today.)

Still working on Christmas cards.

Still need to make a PILE of Christmas decorations for the tree we are buying on Saturday. I think Paul will win the BIG v. little tree debate because there is no way I will make enough CRAFTS to fill anything taller than 5 feet. Babe, I officially surrender.

Still thinking that GLUESTICKS are the greatest invention of the 21st century.
