enJOY it

Katy and I went to ikea today. Katy has ikea money to furnish her apartment. I have no money, but big dreams.

Right in the middle of the kitchen section I found my new scrapbook table:Ikeatable

It is supposed to be an island for chopping foods and learning to cook. I shall use it to chop paper and practice my glue stick abilities.

I think I need to have it. Because it is tall enough that I can stand at it. And I believe that I would be much more creative if I was standing. Plus it has that shelf feature on the bottom where I can put all my baskets of goodies.

And I like that it is wood. So when paint gets all over it it will look cool. Because obviously that is why I scrapbook, the cool factor.

I plan on it just being an island away from the wall enough that I can stand on the other side. More work space. Plus when I run out of ideas, instead of standing on my head, I can face another direction.

So purchase number two, after I get a dresser will be this little dude. Until I find something better or less expensive.

I love my kitchen island scrap table. If you like to have the stand/sit option it’s perfect. Plus, they tend to be very reasonably priced. And if you ever decide you don’t want to play with paper anymore (as if) you always have a kitchen island!

That is a very cool table. I went to Ikea just the other week, saw that, and thought almost the same things!!!! It’s really cool. And that metal bar can be used to hang things from. or attach finished layouts to. or unfinished ones. or tie ribbons to…Oh no, now you got me all excited about it again, just when I managed to get it out of my head!

Awesome table. I got my scrap table from Ikea too. Living in an apartment, I don’t know if you could put holes in the walls, but I love my desk. It folds down, so it doesn’t take up space. And the workspace is quite large. I have it up high, so that I can stand at it, and I have a stool for if I would like to sit! Here’s the link if you want to check it out:
