To answer a few questions:

That "Do Something Creative Every Day" stamp is from Paper Source. It is available here.
The unmounted stamp in my Album on the Road kit is Paper Salon. It came in a tin with 8 other similar stamps. It is my favorite.
That planner is made by Bob’s Your Uncle. You can find it all over the web, including amazon. I found mine at Anthropologie and was totally excited because I did not have to pay shipping.
As to where do I actually scrap…Right there. On top of all the stuff. I love my desk because it has a tray for a keyboard. As I do not have a keyboard, it is just another work surface. Which is perfect, because I often switch gears in the middle of something and I can just slide it away.
