But I am only going to say a few of them. Some I am bound by legal contract not to discuss and some are just too personal to publish.
Today was Day Two at Target. Met my boss. He is good. He actually said, "My job is to encourage your growth as a leader." He also said, "I teach yoga classes downtown." We will bond nicely, I feel.
Target is intense. But man, is it a well-oiled machine. I feel like I have an All-Access-Pass to one of the most effective and successful businesses in the nation. I feel like I am sitting on top of a wealth of knowledge. Information about consumers, products, buying trends, marketing, etc. is waiting for me. And there are people who want to help me take it all in. People who say to me, "This is your opportunity. This is your chance to grow as a person and try out different leadership styles to determine what works best."
Yeah. I’ll get on board with that plan. As for the personal stuff…I’ll stay afloat.
