In yoga there is a lot of talk about clearing our minds.  About thinking nothing.  Or thinking about a color (orange for me).  Or thinking the word "OM."  It is supposed to bring peace.  Peace of mind.  Peace of body. 

I have a very hard time with this.  I have to focus to clear my mind.  And then I focus on the fact that I am clearing my mind.  Which reminds me that I am trying to clear my mind.  Which reminds me of the thoughts that I am trying to clear from my mind.  It is a vicious cycle.

But then.  When my mind is empty.  When my focus is on nothing but my breath.  When life is good.  That is Yoga.
