enJOY it

an archived personal and craft blog from Elise Blaha Cripe.

Today was the final day of my internship at the James G. Elliott Company

I learned skills in both Quark and Photoshop – two separate design programs.  I learned that magazine creation is really not as glamorous as it appears.  I learned how to most effectively navigate downtown during peak traffic hours.

Important stuff for sure — although this is what is officially going on the Resume:

James G. Elliott Company, Los Angeles, CA                             January 2006 – April 2006

Marketing Intern

·         Designed Media Kits for various magazines including Yoga Journal

·         Generated and complied databases of potential advertisers

·         Created the monthly classified ad layout for The Rotarian & ABA Journal

Pretty legit for a paid internship.
