Feel like I just fell out of a tornado.
It was a whirlwind of a vacation, but I left the city feeling as though I had experienced it. Most significant to me was the contrast between the different parts of the city. Between the Financial District and the Theater District. Between Soho and 5th Avenue. Between Times Square and Union Square. Glad that I was able to take it all in. Marvelous vacation.
Here – in very particular order – are the places I went to. Starting Saturday morning…
- Ellis Island
- Food Emporium
- Tasti D Lite
- Mary Ann’s – Dinner Saturday
- Odeon – Brunch Sunday
- Empire State Building
- TONIC
- Central Park
- Tavern on the Green – Lunch Monday
- Time Warner Center
- TAO – Dinner Monday
- Black Fin – Beer Monday
- Monster Sushi
- Union Square
- Angelo’s Pizza – Dinner Tuesday
- CHICAGO!! – The Musical at the Ambassador Theater
- Serendipity
- Bloomingdale’s
- Bar Americain – Final NYC Meal
Clearly, I ate well. Wonderfully well. And my FAVORITE meal? Beer and Chicken BBQ Salad at Tonic. Honestly. Best Bar Ever. 2 for 1 Happy Hour. It became the 901 Club of NYC.
Also took some great photos. Of things that felt very "New York" to me. Of things that looked cool to me. And now the fun part…I get to scrapbook the whole adventure!
