night out.

Saw the city last night.  Well, a square couple miles – or maybe just a mile – of it.  Various Locations = Various Adventures.

Stops of the night:

  1. Duvet
  2. Prey
  3. Mercury Bar
  4. Black Bear Lodge
  5. Bowery Bar

Not going to pretend that I know enough about the "club scene" to actually write reviews on these places.  Not going to pretend that I actually have any idea what to do at clubs.  However, I do not have to pretend that I had a fabulous time.

Brief Comments on the night:

  • NYC is not as intimidating as I thought.
  • Thank goodness for cabs and good weather (Think 60 degrees).
  • If you smile you do not have to pay.
  • Good times.  Good times.

    glad you enjoyed the city! really, doesn’t nice go a long way? People do smile here! I’m so glad that you had a great time. When I first moved to NY I was intimidated by the “scene,” too. Turns out everyone was just happy and wanted to have a good time : ) Glad you enjoyed yourself and you were here during a heat wave!
