enJOY it

Here’s the thing about work: If you enjoy it, it isn’t work. 

Okay.  No surprise there.  But finally I am doing something that I enjoy.  I get to create.  I get to produce.  I get to use color and shapes and fonts.  I get to make something worthwhile.  Something that Yoga Journal can use to get advertisers.  Today, at the internship, I started to develop a powerpoint that highlights the type of advertising that is available in YJ.

<—THIS pamphlet is my inspiration.  Those colors.  That font.  It’s becoming quite YJ worthy. I’m quite excited.

Not every day at this job is going to be energizing.  Not everyday will I feel like I am doing something meaningful.  Not every day will I want to work.  But I will remember that it’s possible.  And I will continue to reach for it.  For the feeling of productivity.
